Sam and I ventured out in the morning to see another James Bond film site (we think this may need to be a travel goal - as many James Bond villain hide outs as possible). The Maiden's Tower - which was awesome. Its first iteration was likely built in 1110 and it has be burned, rebuilt, destroyed, rebuilt MANY times. See Wikipedia for the many legends and stories that go with the tower, my favorite fact is that they used to literally have a chain stretched from this to the far European shore in order to close/defend the area. Low tech defense, I love it.
